Sony and Samsung face off with Xperia XZ4 vs the Galaxy S10

Fasten your seat belts ladies and gentlemen, because 2019 will be quite the ride. Big players in the phone industry are preparing to woe users with cool new devices. In our recent reports we’ve talked about Apple’s efforts to stay on top. They plan on implementing a triple rear camera, something we’ve heard a lot about this year. However, they refuse to do away with their notch. But Apple is not on the agenda today. Samsung and Sony have made major steps to keep up with Apple in the recent past. We’ve seen Samsung come up with the Samsung Galaxy S9, a device that has since then received multiple good reviews. Sony on the other hand has been just as thorough with their Xperia X series. Recent reports show that both of these companies will be releasing new devices this month.

Samsung’s Galaxy S10

The rumored launch date is on 20th of this month. Fans couldn’t be more excited. Concepts have tried to give a picture of the specifications the device might have and I must say it looks yummy. Unlike Apple, Samsung have no fear of doing away with the notch. Images show a punched hole through the screen as the new design.

Other improvements include a faster processor, embedded fingerprint scanner under the HD display, reverse charging among others. Personally, I can’t wait to see the reverse charging functionality. Will it really work? I guess we’ll find out very soon.

Sony Xperia XZ4

This device looks set to be one of the most exciting ones yet. Sony never takes chances with the body, it is always attractive. The hard truth is that sony has been struggling to keep up with the rest, is this their year? This new device is set to be released on the 25th. Just 5 days after the Galaxy S10. The main improvements on the device is the sensors. They also plan to implement the new Snapdragon 855 processor.

What users fear most about the device is how much it will cost. Supposedly, it will range around the 700$ mark. For such a price, they better deliver some very cool specs. Tell us your thoughts in the comment section below.
