Samsung Galaxy S10 will most probably release in 2019. It will be Samsung’s first device with an in-display fingerprint reader. However, the latest leak reveals Samsung Galaxy S10 Color Options.
According to recent reports, Samsung Galaxy S10 color options will include White, Black, Pink, silver, and emerald green color. Samsung has not officially released any information regarding this. But the reports pretty much confirm the colors.
According to rumors, there will be three Samsung Galaxy S10 Models. As reported earlier, Samsung Galaxy S10 will come equipped with 5G.
Additionally, the Galaxy S10’s screen to body ratio will be “vastly improved” as compared to the S9. There are no official words about it but most probably, Samsung will eliminate the bottom bezel of the phone so that they can create a screen to body ratio of around 90 percent. Presently, the Galaxy S9 has a screen-to-body ratio of about 84 percent.
The flat phone, according to the rumors, will be a 5.8-inch model unit out of the three S10 variants that Samsung is preparing to compete with the iPhone, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, and iPhone XR.
The model number claimed to be is SM-G970 and the display will have a screen ratio of 18.5:9. The display might even work as an ear-piece they claim. The other two models reportedly leaked, will be the SM-G973 — with a 5.8 edge display — and the SM-G975 — with a 6.4–inch edge display. Not to mention it will finally introduce the long-anticipated Fingerprint On Display technology in the new releases.
A flat display release is finally good news for users unsatisfied with the previous curved displays launched.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 may be a more affordable model or it could also be a potential fourth model. Opting for a flat display will most certainly allow the company to reduce the price point of the upcoming device. Though that still remains to be seen as yet, since no reveal about the price point of the phones has been made. However, we can also expect it to only have a single camera at the back and not have the display-based fingerprint sensor.
The leaked details for the Samsung Experience 10 interface, show it to be tailored to the curved Edge display. It uses a curved corner card design that engulfs fully around the display edges. We’ll have to wait to see how the UI is adapted to a potentially flat phone.
The Galaxy S10 models with triple advanced cameras are apparently in the works for Samsung which probably means that the Qualcomm’s in-display fingerprint sensor will feature on all phone variants. They are also being rumored to be released ahead of the planned schedule. The anticipated triple-camera setup looks set to feature on the highest-spec Galaxy S10 model, according to reports from SamMobile. A “cost-efficient” model will feature a single camera lens, while the standard Galaxy S10 will boast a dual camera setup.
The main highlight for the Galaxy S10, however, is expected to have an ultra-wide, a regular and a telephoto lens. We heard some rumors for S10’s dual camera earlier this year.
The main camera shows no signs of change with a 12MP sensor (1.4µm pixels) and a dual aperture (f/1.5 and f/2.4). The tele camera appears almost the same as well, aside from the upgrade to 13MP (compared to Galaxy S9+’s 12MP). Both have OIS just like before.
The ultra-wide camera is the new addition here. With a field view of 123°, it should be sporting a 12mm lens (in 35mm equivalent). That’s quite wider than the LG G7 ThinQ (16mm) and has a much higher resolution than the Asus Zenfone 5z (12mm lens, 8MP sensor).
The leaked report also indicates that the wide angle lens won’t be featuring optical image stabilization and autofocus.
