New way to jailbreak iOS 12 without the use of a computer explained here

We have all heard about the jailbreaks that have come out in recent years. Actually we’ve done a few pieces on the matter, you can read about them here. There were supposedly two ways to jailbreak an iOS device. One was the rooted method that gives user access past the \var directory. This has proven to give the user more control over the device but has some holes in security. Unrooted jailbreak only does half the job but that way it is easier to make apps compatible with the design. The is a new player in town, one used to jailbreak iOS 12.

Does using Unc0ver to jailbreak iOS 12 a simpler way?

Over the years, Apple has made a name for themselves in terms of security. The fact that they developed their own in-house operating system just goes to prove how thorough they are. However, this comes with a few delimiters. In order to maintain the high security, a lot of constraints are added onto the operating system. This is where jailbreaking and Unc0ver come in. Users always want more control over their devices.

Most jailbreaks we’ve seen always need the use of a computer. There is always a step that includes connecting the device to a PC or Mac, not this time. I believe this aspect makes this way quite simple. But that’s just my view, other users might think differently.

Step 1 – Go to next.tweakboxapp.com and navigate to apps which is at the top of the screen.

Step 2 – Select Tweakbox apps.

Step 3 – When you scroll down you’ll see the Unc0ver jailbreak. They will have indicated which Operating Systems can be broken by the software. The last time we checked they had enough versions broken. For example, iOS 12, iOS 12.1.1, iOS 12.1.2.

Step 4 – Once downloaded, go ahead and install the app on your device.

Step 5 – Open settings and navigate to Profiles and device management. Here you’ll find a Lebo international Investment Development Co. Ltd option. Select trust from the confirmation box .

Step 6 – All that’s left now is to launch the app and select the jailbreak option. Once the jailbreak is complete and the device restarts Cydia should be available. If not, simply repeat the above steps carefully.
